Our customers, the wellbeing services counties only pay an annual insurance premium, which does not fluctuate unexpectedly according to patient compensations. We always announce the amount of the insurance premium well in advance before the start of the insurance period.
We are, however, more than just an insurance company. Our customers can be in contact with our experts on a low threshold in matters concerning patient insurance. In addition, we help our customers analyse patient injury data in order to develop patient safety.

We are a company owned by four university wellbeing services counties and HUS Group, whose main task is not to make a profit but to cover the financial patient injury risks of the public medical care. We treat each of our customers as our owners. As our customers the wellbeing services counties receive, in addition to the statutory patient insurance, for example
- the exact pricing criteria for the patient injury risks and
- reports and analyses, prepared by our insurance experts, related to patient injuries that can thereby promote patient safety.
The cooperation and insurance activities are transparent and open towards all our customers.
